Our Task Consists of Exclusively Eliminating' - The Way Sudan's Brutal Fighting Force Conducted a Mass Killing

Combatants smirk as they travel on the rear of a transport truck, hurrying by a series of nine dead bodies and driving facing the setting Sudanese sun.
"See such accomplishment. Look at this genocide," a combatant shouts.
The fighter grins as he points the recording device on his own face and his companion fighters, their Rapid Support Forces insignia clearly shown: "The victims shall all perish like this."
These individuals are exulting in a mass killing that aid workers believe claimed the lives of more than thousands of people in the Sudanese urban center of el-Fasher in recent weeks.
An Urban Center Isolated from the Globe
Following their control of the city under encirclement for approximately two years, from late summer the militia proceeded to reinforce its dominance and prevent access for the remaining residents.
Satellite images show that troops began to build a massive earth barrier - a built-up dirt embankment - surrounding the perimeter of al-Fashir, sealing off entry points and blocking relief supplies.
While the blockade intensified, seventy-eight civilians were slain in an RSF assault on a religious building on mid-September, while the international organization stated 53 further were slain in drone and cannon strikes on a makeshift community in October.
Graphic Footage Depicts Defenseless Individuals Executed
In the early morning on 26 October the militia overwhelmed the remaining government defenses and captured the central headquarters in the city, the headquarters of the Military Unit, as the army withdrew.
Perhaps the most graphic videos to appear and analysed depicted the consequences of a atrocity at a university building on the western side of the community, where scores corpses were seen strewn over the floor.

RSF Officers Seek to Conduct Damage Control
