Cars in Germany's City Discovered Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Around 50 vehicles have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postboxes were defaced, in some cases with swastikas, they reported in a official communication.

Officers report they were notified during the night on Wednesday, when a man observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish liquid.

The fluid had been applied in the shape of a swastika, they added.

Police then discovered numerous other marked cars and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under laws banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement say early analysis indicate the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to its origin; authorities are presently not cognizant of any harm in relation with the occurrence," they stated.

Municipal representatives stated they were trying "to resolve the incident" and have appealed to the public for information.

An important representative stated the incident rendered him speechless and required to be addressed quickly.

"This act hits the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the extremist violent incident in 2020," he wrote on online, mentioning the killing of nine people by a assailant focusing on individuals of immigrant origin in 2020.
